Restrictions on usage of ATMs of other banks
| In April 2009, the Reserve Bank of India made third party ATM usage free. This was true for both withdrawals and balance enquiries. (Check out “Free cash withdrawals from all ATMs in India from 1 April 2009” for more) |
- Allowed only 5 free transactions in a month. Subsequent transactions would be charged (the proposed rate is Rs. 20 per transaction)
- Allowed to withdraw a maximum of Rs. 10,000 while using the ATM of a third-party ATM

My father has taken National saving certificates for 20,000 .My father is a state government employee.Can i submit those certificates for my tax exemption as investment on dependants.
