“My Financial Plan” - Preparation of financial plan (one-time payment)

Online payment: Rs. 2,849 ($62) (A discount of about 5%) (Rs. 4,749 from 15th August 2010)

Payment by other means: Rs. 2,999 (Rs. 4,999 from 15th August 2010)

Subsequent monitoring of your financial health (payment per year)

(Due after 1 year of preparation of your financial plan)

Online payment: Rs. 1,899 ($40) (A discount of about 5%) (Rs. 2,849 from 15th August 2010)

Payment by other means: Rs. 1,999 (Rs. 2,999 from 15th August 2010)

[People who have enrolled on or before 14th August, 2010 would get their second year at the old price of Rs. 1,899 / Rs. 1,999 (depending on the mode of payment)]

Please note: When you purchase “My Financial Plan” service for the preparation of your financial plan, it is not compulsory to avail the service for the subsequent years. However, it is highly recommended in order to ensure that you are moving along the right financial path. For more, please read “After the initial financial plan”.

Also, you do not have to pay Rs. 2,999 / Rs. 2,849 (for preparation of the financial plan) during the following years.

You can make the payment in four ways: Online - by fund transfer from your bank account to my bank account, Online - by credit card, by cheque or by money order.

If you choose to make the payment online through fund transfer from your bank account to my account, here are the details:

If you choose to pay online, you get about 5% discount even on the limited-time introductory price.

Faster processing

If you pay online, the payment is realized immediately – there is no waiting for clearing of the cheque. This means that your account can be set up faster, and we can start working on your financial plan faster.

Important note about credit card payment

Safety

You can be absolutely sure about the security aspect – your online payment is processed by www.PayPal.com, which is an international leader in online payment processing. They employ the best technology and encryption methods, so your credit card data is absolutely secure.

Please note that all your credit card details are entered and processed directly on the secure PayPal website – www.RaagVamdatt.com doesn't collect or store any credit card information that you enter.

Accepted cards

You can make the online payment using any MasterCard, Visa or American Express credit card.

Payment in Dollars

Please note that the online payment that you make would be in dollars. After currency conversion, this would be equivalent to the price quoted in Rupees.

Charges on your credit card statement

You credit card company may charge you a nominal foreign currency transaction / processing fee. But rest assured, even after this, you would get about 5% discount on the price applicable for cheque payment.

Example: $62 for preparation of the financial plan is about Rs. 2,790 (at a rate of Rs. 45 per dollar). This gives enough buffer for absorbing the nominal foreign currency transaction fee (if any), and minor fluctuations in the Rupee-Dollar exchange rate.

Reason for the difference between initial charge and subsequent yearly charge

It is a natural question – Why is the initial financial plan preparation charge higher than the yearly recurring charge?

Here's the answer.

The initial preparation of your financial plan is the most crucial step in ensuring that you meet all your financial goals satisfactorily. And therefore, it also takes significant analysis and effort from my part.

Subsequent monitoring is also crucial – but it is relatively easier since a plan is already in place. Therefore, a lesser fee for yearly monitoring.
