How does My Financial Plan @ RaagVamdatt.com work?

Step 1 – Payment

Once you decide to avail the service of RaagVamdatt.com for preparation of your financial plan, the first step would be the payment. You can either make an online payment, or can pay by cheque.

Step 2 – Account setup

After your payment is cleared, your account would be setup at RaagVamdatt.com.

I would create a user account for you, and would mail you the username and password. You can use this to log into your account at www.RaagVamdatt.com/MyPlan

Please note that this username and password is different from your username and password for www.RaagVamdatt.com.

Step 3 – Entering your information

For me to start working on a financial plan for you, I would need some information from you. Please have a look at “Information needed from you” to know what information you would need to provide.

Once you log into your account, you would be presented with various forms where you can enter this information. You can even change or refine the information after you enter it. Once you are done, you would need to drop me an email at myplan@raagvamdatt.com.

Step 4 – Request for additional information (if necessary)

If I feel that some crucial information is missing, or if I need to know more about some specific thing that you have mentioned, I would ask you for more details.

Step 5 – You provide additional information (if necessary)

Of course, this is applicable only if I have asked you for more information.

Step 6 – Draft financial plan

Based on the information provided by you, I would prepare a draft financial plan for you. I would post this in your account as a PDF file for your review.

Step 7 – Your review of the draft financial plan

Here, you would tell me what you feel about the draft financial plan. You would also mention any changes that you would like to see in the plan.

Step 8 – Second draft of the financial plan (if needed)

If the changes proposed by you are more than basic changes, I would create another draft of the financial plan and post it (as a PDF file) for your review.

Step 9 - Your review of the second draft of the financial plan (if needed)

This is applicable only if I have posted the second draft of your financial plan.

Step 10 – Your financial plan - Final

Based on your review and feedback, I would post your financial plan (as a PDF file).

Step 11 – Continuous monitoring

Preparing the financial plan is the first and most important step in maintaining a fine financial health.

But we also need to ensure that the financial plan is changed as and when appropriate – say when there is an addition to the family. Also, we need to see that the financial plan is performing as expected, and changes need to be made if required.

This needs continuous monitoring. Please read “After the initial financial plan” to know more about this.
