SYSTEMATIC WITHDRAWAL PLAN
raagvamd, RaagVamdatt

It is also commonly known as SWP. It is an option offered by Mutual Funds so that investors can make regular, periodic withdrawals from a mutual fund scheme. Normally in an SWP, investments are withdrawn monthly.

The SWP method results in superior returns as compared to a lump-sum one time withdrawal, as it takes away the element of timing of the market from the withdrawals.
